At Fortelle, we believe strong girls become strong women because someone helped light the way. Sometimes it is a mother. Sometimes it is a grandmother, aunt, stepmom, mentor, teacher, sister or friend. Behind nearly every confident woman is a village of caregivers who reminded her she was capable, loved, resilient and worthy long before she fully believed it herself. Mother's Day is a celebration of all of them - the women who show up, steady the room and quietly carry more than anyone sees.

This year, Mother's Day is particularly personal to me. Just three weeks ago, my mom dropped everything to fly to New York City and help care for me as I came out of a long spine surgery. As I started walking again and feeling stronger each day, it reminded me that no matter how grown up we are, there is something deeply powerful about being cared for by the people who love us most. My mother-in-law sent me a simple message while I was recovering: "No one can replace anyone's mom." It stayed with me. Because while every family looks different, the love, sacrifice and strength behind caregiving are universal - and often the foundation that allows ambitious girls and women to keep moving forward.

Fortelle was created to celebrate courage, individuality, connection and the stories we carry with us. This Mother's Day, we are honoring every woman helping raise the next generation of bold, kind, confident girls - whether through motherhood, friendship, mentorship, or simply showing up when someone needs you most. To all the caregivers, encouragers, protectors and role models: thank you. You are part of the story behind every strong woman.
