Collecting Color with Summer Beads

It is officially summer - thunderstorms in NYC notwithstanding - and we are gearing up for some fun launches and in-person pop-ins over the coming months!

We are fresh off a beautiful event in Summit, New Jersey, where our turquoise bead chain was a favorite among the moms present. We decided to make a few more for our summer events, but when these are gone, they're gone for good.

This summer, you'll find Fortelle popping up in the Hamptons. Join us on July 11 at Bean 2 Tween in Southampton and on August 10 at Westhampton Country Club. We're hoping to add one more event in East Hampton or Sag Harbor, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, we've been inspired by a week in Sea Island - filled with beaches, boogie boards, bingo, bowling, bikes and best friends. The beautiful Spanish moss and slower pace reminded us to exhale after those whirlwind last days of school and set the tone for the rest of the summer. We fully embraced the season with matching jelly sandals for mom and all three girls (The Row-inspired, of course!) and can confirm they lived up to the hype.

One of the highlights of the week was spending time with Fortelle's biggest nine-year-old fan, my niece, Cameron. Like her mother, she loves shelling and spent hours sharing her impressive technical shell knowledge with anyone who would listen while observing crabs and tiny fish in a makeshift tide pool. Inspired by treasures she and her mom collected on an earlier trip, we created our newest medallion: the CamShell.

The CamShell is cast from an actual clam shell they found together and collectively decided was the perfect shape and size for a timeless medallion. We love it paired with our colorful bead chains for summer (as previewed at the top of this blog!) or layered on a classic gold chain. As always, it's your story to tell. Expect it to drop just after Fourth of July!
